"ECOLOGICAL ISSUES AND RESOURCE SAVING IN RECYCLING AND RETREADING OF WORN TIRES"
in framework of the 7-th International Specialized Exhibition "Tires and Rubber' 2004"

We invite you to participate in the work of the Annual International Scientific and Practical Conference, which is to be held in February, 16 – 17, 2004 in Olimpiysky Complex, Moscow.

Organizers: P&I JSC “MAXIMA”, Russian Union of Chemists, “The Tire Research Institute", D. Mendeleev Russian Chemical Society, Association “Shinoecologia”.

Official support: Ministry of Industry, Science and Technology of the Russian Federation, Government of Moscow, Moscow Region Administration, Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Information support: Journals "Kauchuk i Rezina", "Retreading Business", "Chemistry and Business", “Chemical Industry”.

Subjects of the Conference: new resource saving technologies and equipment for retreading and recycling of worn tires; ecological aspects of utilization and recycling of tires removed from service; scientific and research advances in the field of creating new materials and articles based on the products of worn tires recycling; worn tire certification issues; marketing investigations of articles made from worn tires recycling products.

Participation of leading scientists from Russia and other countries is planned.

Conference 2003: during 2 days of the conference work there has been listened to 19 reports for worn tires problems presented by speakers from different regions of Russia, Ukraine, Germany, Bulgaria, Italy. In the work of the conference there took part more than 100 specialists from Russia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Slovakia, Latvia.

Abstracts of papers (not more that one page A4 Word format *doc, *txt in English) should be sent by February,10, 2004 by e-mail or by post and submit a fax copy please. Illustrations should be in Excel, CorelDraw, PowerPoint ( *xls, *ppt, *crd, *tif) We can read floppy disks "3.5". Please give the author's name and Company's name, address of the author, title of the report.

Abstracts will be published in the book of the Conference papers.

In frames of the conference there will be held Annual session of association for worn tires retreading and recycling “Shinoecologia”.
