The International Exhibition “The Nature, Hunting & Trophies” for the first time was held in 2001 in accordance with the Decree No. 209-r of April 11, 2001 of the Government of the Russian Federation.
The objects of the Exhibition are the development of the culture of commercial, trophy and game hunting, revival and maintenance of old hunting traditions, sound wildlife management, environmental friendliness and conservation of natural resources.
The ecological and economic aspects of hunting management affect the interests of the State in whole. The sound hunting is treated in Russia as one of the kinks in the package of measures on a sustained development of natural resources.
Russia possesses a huge potential for development of the hunting industry. Unforgettable wolf-stalking, bear hunting in Kamchatka and Siberia, elk-stalking in Yakutia, big-horn, red deer, Siberian goat, roe, Caucasian urus and central-asian argali stalking. All of them live in Russia only. The onliness forms the basis of the world hunting business.
The Exhibitions popularizes the achievements and principles of the Proper Trophy Chase which to the fullest extent exhibits the nature-oriented trends in development of the international hunting management.
One of the most important, theoric and attractive sections of the Exhibition is the exposition of trophies as the trophies since primordial times witness the hunter's skills. At three past exhibitions not only domestic trophies (including the trophies - champions of the world) but trophies from five continents: Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and America were exhibited.
The Exhibition which successfully combines a bright deep exposition and informative business program has become an annual traditional forum at which professionals of the industry, manufacturers of goods and services for hunting and shooting, experts and hunting non-professionals from many countries of the world get together.
For three years of the Exhibition existence about 700 exhibitors from 83 regions of Russia and foreign countries become its participants. 78 Departments on Game Animals Control and over 100 governmental and departmental game husbandries rightfully appreciate the Exhibition as a consolidating link for all adherents of the Correct Hunting. The total number of visitors of three previous exhibitions has exceeded 50,000.
The 4th International Specialized Exhibition “The Nature, Hunting & Trophies ‘2005” will present, within a single exposition space, programs, technologies and scientific developments in hunting study and sound hunting nature management, specialized weapons showroom, trophy collections and works of taxidermic art, hunting tourism, full range of goods for hunting/shooting, tourism and fishing, accessories and souvenirs.
Within the framework of the specialized weapons showroom the leading Russian and foreign producers and suppliers of the world brands of weapons will present the full range of their products: hunting weapons, sporting fire and cold steel arms, weapon for self-defence and plinking, unique author's and collection copies. The Weapons Showroom is an event which is visited by representatives of large weapons trading houses, specialized shops, hunting societies and sporting clubs from all regions of Russia, CIS's and Baltic countries as well as experts and judge of good weapon and hunting fans, i.e. the most interested category of buyers.
The organizers of the Exhibition successfully use special programs on attraction of the target visitors. One of them is “The Business Contacts Club” which provides for preliminary planning of negotiations, meetings, presentations, which allows effective and sound use of the work hours at the Exhibition.
The important component of the Exhibition is a rich scientific, business and cultural program. It includes conferences, discussion groups and professional contests, presentations of exhibiting companies, many demonstration events and entertainments. The traditional zest is the Parades of hunting dogs and demonstration of hawk birds.
