INTERLAKOKRASKA' 2005 REPORT

350 companies from 21 countries: Belgium, United Kingdom, Germany, Greece, India, Spain, Ireland, Italy, China, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Republic of Belarus, Russia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, and Sweden participated in the exhibition. INTERLAKOKRASKA is the largest industrial exhibition of paints and coatings in Russia.

30% of the participants were international companies, the other 70% were represented by the Russian enterprise. More than 100 Moscow companies were among the participants.

RUSSIAN PAINTS company presented at the exhibition its major activities and brands: YAROSLAVSKIYE KRASKI for wide application; car-repair products under VIKA brand; two new brands of industrial paints – LINIA for road marking and STRELA for railway vehicles painting; the companies new production of water-dispersive acrylic paints for repair works.

One of the permanent participants of the exhibition is CPS COLOR, a world leader in tinting systems production. The company's clients are all globe largest paint producers; its share of the European tinting market is 75%. In spite of the Russian stereotype of usage "habit" for cheap paints, the situation, due to experts' opinion, is changing: each exhibition is effective, more and more Russian producers turn to using modern coloring systems.

The most spring and lively stand at the exhibition all decorated with real tulips seemed to belong to Holland company AKZO NOBEL. In the framework of the exhibition this globe-leading producer of chemicals and coatings presented paints, coatings and varnishes for industrial, transportation and sea industries. Every third airplane in the world is painted with AKZO NOBEL paint, while the company's absolute leadership is held in sea industry application. That's what the company says about its world activity: "Whatever and wherever it is, we will paint it". As the company's representative has marked, the Russian market is currently one of the most fast developing, new paint and varnish plants are established here, and that is why the interest to the exhibition is constantly growing.

ROGNEDA SPC introduced at the exhibition its products for complex wood protection which include new antiseptic agent BIOSEPT-TRANS for timber protection at the drying period, during storage and transportation. EUROTEX protective and decorating wood coating exposes freezing without loss of its characteristics.

VIKTORIA LLC (Khot'kovo ) introduced at the exhibition equipment for paint lines, paint spraying booths, drying chambers, paint sprayers, and new paintwork products, particularly, UNIVERSAL-LUX alkyd-urethane enamel. The company produces coatings for special purposes for chemical and oil-producing industries.

In the framework of the exhibition the International Scientific Conference "Trends and Prospects of Paint Industry: Production and Relevant Goods" took place. 120 specialists from 65 companies, including 9 international, participated in the conference. 27 reports were delivered.

Winners of the 5th International Contest "Best Paintwork Production'2005" were awarded at the exhibition.
