BYTCHIMEXPO'2005 REPORT

230 companies from 17 countries: Austria, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Italy, Latvia, the Netherlands, Poland, Republic of Belarus, Russia, Syria, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic participated in BYTCHIMEXPO'2005.

Among the participants were such world-leading producers of household chemicals, cosmetics and personal care products as AKZO NOBEL (the Netherlands), BASF, DE SMET BALLESTRA (Italy), Henkel, Procter & Gamble, Rohm and Haas (USA), Sasol (Germany), Nefis Cosmetics (Kazan), SVOBODA Cosmetics Company.

The total exhibition area was 5000 sq. m.

SVOBODA Cosmetics Company introduced at the exhibition a new line of skin-care products GREEN TEA, alongside with MILK AND HONEY and BUSINESS WOMAN product series. The company is currently concentrated on its production re-styling – new packaging designs were introduced.

At SeDo Household Products' stand a wide range of household chemical products, aluminum foil, package bags, baking cups, dishwashing sponges under Paclan trade mark were presented. At the exhibition the company introduced a new and unique product – microwave film whose original structure provides vapour pressure self-regulation and the required moisture which prevents over drying of the food.

Dental-Kosmetik and its exclusive distributor in Russia RusDent JSC presented at the exhibition a new product – Silca Beauty White whitening toothpaste with micro granules that efficiently whitens teeth and inter-dental space. The company also introduced new oral care products for children.

BI-A-CHIM Group, a distributor for such companies as Novozaims, BASF, DOW Corning and other world-leading producers, presented active primary ingredients for manufacture of chemical household products and cosmetics: enzymes, optical whiteners, antiresorbents, thickeners, surfactants.

One of the world largest chemical companies RHODIA (France) offered at the exhibition an ample range of raw components for household chemicals, cosmetics, and toothpaste production. The company is a world leader in manufacture of phosphor derivatives, guar and soft surfactants. The products introduced at the market less than 5 years ago more than 17.5% of the company's total turnover; more than 220 patents are registered yearly.

In the framework of the exhibition a 2-day International Conference "Household Chemicals, Cosmetics and Hygiene Products: Raw Materials and Modern Technologies" took place. 120 experts from 68 companies, including 9 international, participated in the conference. 12 reports were delivered.

At the exhibition the winners of the 6th Competition "Best Household Chemical Products, Hygiene Products and Cosmetics Production" and the 2nd Competition "Best Raw Materials for Household Chemical Products, Hygiene Products and Cosmetics Production were awarded, alongside with the participating companies' seminars and presentations.
