Last years the Government of Moscow paid a lot of attention to the conduct of the exhibition "Golden Autumn". And not only because it took place in Moscow. Moscow authorities highlight the importance of development of integration ties, increasing the amount of food production delivery to the capital, first of all, from the regions of Russia. The project "Moscow - regions" we consider to be long-term, we create normative documents, we lay out financial assets to solve the problems of integration with Russian regions.

And last year, by the way it is not so far long ago – on July 22, the problem of further integration with the enterprises and economies of all regions of the Russian Federation had been solving. The appropriate decisions confirming the city policy of food safety was made. Certainly, we have to approach this without bias. Not everything proved to be successful. But, nevertheless, there is a statistics that for 7 months of the current year in comparison with the similar period of the last year dependence on meat and meat products decreased from 76 % to 69%, dependence on animal oil decreased from 75% to 70%. Today potatoes, vegetables, eggs, diary products, vegetable oil, sugar, which Moscow consumes, are all from Russian regions.

With the organized financial support from the city the processes of further integration of the food complex enterprises with regional commodity producer got the subsequent development. Holding companies are established. In general we need this exhibition, this fair a lot. Because not all regional production can get to Moscow, especially if the enterprises are, as they say, “on far approaches”.

The decision has already been made to support the Moscow enterprises, which as well as the city invest the assets in development of cattle-breeding complexes, plant growing complexes with the aim of securing guaranteed deliveries of production of domestic manufacture from Russian regions. Last year we spent 500 millions rubles on that. We have already spent 500 millions rubles this year, and in the future we plan to invest from 1,5 to 2 billion rubles a year through Moscow enterprises and organizations.

In 2002 from these integrated organizations we got 51 thousand tons of meat and meat products. We assume that by 2006 we will already have 50 thousand hectares in the integrated economies. Such politics will allow us to supply from 40 to 50 % of necessary consumption of meat in city at the expense of domestic production by 2006.

We are looking forward to opening of the exhibition "Golden Autumn". We are interested in attraction of the food producers from regions, it would be interesting to see what they will bring on the exhibition, what they will present. We are ready to carry out a number of conferences, meetings, consultations with firms, which deliver production from regions to Moscow. After all they will bring production, and the trade organizations are ready to see it with the purpose of organizing deliveries.
